Bisseck joined Inter Milan from Danish side AGF Aarhus in the summer of 2023 and has grown into one of Serie A's most impressive centre-backs, contributing eight goals and eight assists across 102 competitive appearances in the blue and black shirt.
This season he made 35 appearances across all competitions, scoring three goals and providing three assists as Inter won the Scudetto and Coppa Italia double under head coach Cristian Chivu.
The clearest signal that a move may be coming is Bisseck's recent decision to change agents. La Gazzetta dello Sport describe the timing as no coincidence, noting that high-profile agency changes almost always precede significant transfer negotiations.
Several leading agencies competed to represent him, with the process described as a decisive step in positioning the player for a move.
Bisseck has expressed ambitions to establish himself in the Germany national team, where he has only one senior cap to date. A move to Bayern Munich would maximise his visibility with the national team setup ahead of what he hopes will be a sustained international career.
Inter's response has been firm. Head coach Cristian Chivu and sporting director Piero Ausilio both consider Bisseck a cornerstone of the rebuilt defensive unit following the summer departures of Matteo Darmian and Francesco Acerbi.
The Nerazzurri are unwilling to sell below €40m and would expect to quickly reinvest. Gazzetta identifies Sassuolo centre-back Tarik Muharemović and Udinese defender Oumar Solet as the two players Inter would target to replace him — both of whom have been linked with the club for some time.
Inter are also conscious that allowing a key defensive asset to join a rival for the Champions League in the same season amplifies the cost beyond any transfer fee. Bayern are expected to be among the contenders for European honours next season under Vincent Kompany.
