The agent of Aleksey Batrakov says the 20-year-old's transfer from Lokomotiv Moscow to Paris Saint-Germain is 95 percent complete, with PSG advisor Luis Campos expected to travel to Moscow in the coming days to finalise a deal worth €25 million.

Speaking on Russian YouTube channel Komment.Show, agent Dmitry Cheltsov said: "There is a 95 percent chance that Batrakov will join PSG. The leadership of PSG and Lokomotiv have already had more than ten phone conversations. Next week, Campos will go to Moscow to try to close the deal.

"There would need to be a case of force majeure to prevent this transaction. The transfer will cost €25 million, and Batrakov's salary will be €5 to 6 million per year."

The comments represent the most direct confirmation yet from the player's camp that the transfer is close. Batrakov's Lokomotiv teammate and captain Anton Mitryushkin had already told Russian outlet Legalbet that he was "100 percent convinced" Batrakov would join PSG, calling a potential move "a blessing for everyone."

Batrakov has had an outstanding season in the Russian Premier Liga, contributing 17 goals and 12 assists across 36 matches as Lokomotiv finished third in the table. He is under contract until June 2029, with a release clause reported variously at €16 million and €20 million — a figure PSG intend to exceed in order to close the deal without a dispute.

The 20-year-old has been spotted wearing a PSG shirt in a social media post, adding further colour to what Russian media have been reporting for months. L'Équipe confirmed that Campos has had Batrakov on his radar for several months, though French outlets have been more cautious than Russian sources about the likelihood of a conclusion.

If the deal closes, Batrakov would become the second Russian player at PSG alongside goalkeeper Matvey Safonov. He has 11 senior caps for Russia and would be one of the youngest players in Luis Enrique's squad next season.
