The Brazilian forward came off the bench in Arsenal’s recent defeat to Bournemouth, with his position in the squad having shifted compared to previous seasons.
With just over a year remaining on his contract, speculation around his future is beginning to build, though Jesus made it clear he remains committed for now.
“I have a contract with Arsenal,” he told Globo Esporte.
“Obviously, my situation at Arsenal has changed from what it was before, but my main focus today remains Arsenal, making things happen here, helping in whatever way the manager needs.”
Jesus joined Arsenal from Manchester City in a £45 million move in 2022 and quickly became a key figure, but injuries and competition have impacted his consistency in recent campaigns.
Looking ahead, however, the striker admitted his emotional connection to Palmeiras remains strong.
“My desire is to one day return to Palmeiras and win even more titles,” he said.
“Because I've already experienced the taste of winning titles at Palmeiras. And it's something that's still within me, it's a very strong desire.”
Despite that ambition, Jesus acknowledged that any potential move would depend on circumstances aligning.
“I also need to receive an offer from Palmeiras,” he added.
“My relationship with Palmeiras has always been very good and always will be; I have immense gratitude.”
Jesus also spoke warmly about Palmeiras manager Abel Ferreira, highlighting the impact he has had on the club’s success in recent years.
“He is truly the greatest coach in Palmeiras' history, not only because of titles, but because normally we see so many coaches who go to Brazil, win one or two titles and leave.”
“Abel is different, totally different, the identification he has with Palmeiras is very strong.”
The Arsenal forward revealed he has held in-depth conversations with Ferreira, strengthening his admiration for the Portuguese coach.
“I had the opportunity to talk to him for more than an hour a couple of times when I went to train at Palmeiras,” he said.
“We always had a good conversation, about football and about life in general. He's a guy who cares a lot.”
For now, Jesus remains focused on contributing at Arsenal, but his comments make one thing clear — a return to Palmeiras is not a question of if, but when, provided the right opportunity arrives.
