Arsenal, Manchester City, Manchester United and Bayern Munich are the four clubs now competing for Lille midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi, according to RMC Sport, with Paris Saint-Germain no longer among the suitors.

Bouaddi, 18, is contracted to Lille until the summer of 2029 and Lille are expected to demand around โ‚ฌ70m for his signature. He made 30 Ligue 1 appearances last season, starting 28 of them, contributing one assist across the campaign.

PSG had been repeatedly linked with a move for the Morocco international throughout the year, alongside Liverpool, Chelsea and Real Madrid, but RMC Sport's report removes the French champions from the picture and focuses the race on the four clubs named.

The presence of three Premier League clubs and Bayern Munich gives the transfer the makings of a significant summer auction, with Lille's firm valuation meaning no club will secure Bouaddi at a discount.

His performances at the World Cup with Morocco have accelerated interest that was already building before the tournament began, adding urgency to a situation that clubs will need to resolve before his stock rises further.

Bayern's presence alongside the three English clubs reflects the German club's ongoing effort to rebuild their midfield, and their financial muscle means they could outbid rivals if they commit fully. For Arsenal, Manchester United and Manchester City, the competition between Premier League clubs adds another layer โ€” none will want to see a player of Bouaddi's potential join a domestic rival.

Lille's position of strength โ€” a long contract and a firm valuation โ€” means the selling club holds most of the cards. The question for all four suitors is whether they are prepared to meet that โ‚ฌ70m figure without hesitation.
