Corriere della Sera had reported this week that Allegri wants to leave Milan at the end of the season partly due to tensions with Ibrahimović, who holds an executive advisory role at the club. Allegri did not deny there had been friction but framed it as entirely ordinary.
"Listen, there will always be discussions within a company. One sees things in white, another black, another red, but what matters is that everyone works in the interest of the club. I've had much worse discussions than this one. The fundamental thing is that we all work in the same direction."
He refused to be drawn further on the specifics of any personal disagreement with the Swede, pivoting instead to the club's collective identity.
"The club comes first, above everyone and everything. We are all just passing through."
Allegri also addressed Milan owner Gerry Cardinale's public comments about the importance of Champions League football, indicating the two had spoken recently about the season and the road ahead.
"It is normal at Milan that you have to be ambitious and aim for the maximum result. I was satisfied with Cardinale's words. I spoke with him recently and gave him my vision of this season and of Milan's future, which is what everyone is really interested in."
Milan sit fourth in Serie A with two matches remaining, level on points with Roma in fifth and two ahead of Como in sixth. The pressure on Allegri's side to win both games to guarantee Champions League football for next season is acute. His own future at the club beyond this summer remains unresolved, with his name also linked to the vacant Italy national team position.
