Adams was Sevilla's top scorer last season with 10 La Liga goals, but his name has featured prominently in the club's potential outgoings as Nervión looks to raise funds.
Reports from Italy suggested an agreement had been reached with Venezia, who are said to have offered just over €10m for the Nigerian striker. Sevilla's position is that they want more than €20m, while his Transfermarkt valuation stands at €15m.
"It is normal that during this period there are rumours of transfer movements for a lot of players, not just mine," Adams told Footy-Africa.
"I am happy that my work is recognised but there is nothing. I have not spoken to my agent and I do not take these things very seriously because right now is a time for me to relax and recharge my batteries for next season."
He also outlined the team's objectives for the coming campaign under new head coach Luis García Plaza.
"We did not achieve our objectives last season, so the focus is now on how we can challenge for the European places in the next one," he said. "That is the objective and I am not paying attention to or thinking about those transfer rumours."
Adams joined Sevilla from Montpellier for a little more than €5m in 2025. Despite the club's need to reduce their wage bill and raise funds — with Lucien Agoumé, Rubén Vargas, Juanlu, Kike Salas and Adams himself among their most marketable assets — the striker appears determined to see out the standoff on his own terms and force his way into the new season's plans.
