Lamine Yamal made history in La Liga after reaching 100 appearances at a younger age than any player before him.

The Barcelona star achieved the milestone at just 18 years and 272 days, surpassing the long-standing record held by Raúl.

Raúl, a legend of Real Madrid, had previously reached the century mark at 19 years and 284 days.

Yamal marked the occasion in style during Barcelona’s 4-1 victory over Espanyol, producing a standout performance.

The teenage winger found the net and also provided two assists, underlining his growing influence in the side.

It was another reminder of just how quickly Yamal has developed into one of the most exciting players in European football.

This season alone, he has registered 15 goals and 12 assists in La Liga, numbers that place him among the league’s most productive attackers.

Across his first 100 appearances, Yamal has contributed a remarkable 29 goals and 34 assists.

Such output is extraordinary for a player still in his teens, particularly given the pressure and expectations that come with playing for Barcelona.

His rise has been rapid ever since making his debut in April 2023.

On that day, he became one of the youngest players ever to feature for Barcelona, stepping onto the pitch at just 15 years and 291 days old.

Since then, Yamal has gone from promising academy talent to a central figure in the first team.

His creativity, composure and ability to impact games have made him indispensable despite his age.

Breaking a record previously held by a figure like Raúl only further highlights the scale of his achievement.

For Yamal, reaching 100 La Liga appearances is not just a milestone — it is another step in what is rapidly becoming a historic career trajectory.
