Welcome to the new Football Presse homepage

Football Presse

Welcome to the newly upgraded homepage of Football Presse.

We’re almost a week into the launch and the response has been fantastic. Thank you for all the positive messages about the redesign and the approach we’ve taken.

The upgrade was driven by one simple idea: we wanted to do a better job of promoting the great interviews and original work the FP team have been producing, while bringing more of it together under one tent. We’ve dubbed that tent FP Originals.

When you visit the homepage, you now get instant access to the latest published articles, along with an Editor’s Choice strip highlighting what we believe deserves recognition and is worth reading on the day.

The first of two live news strips follows, with our Transfer Ticker receiving a slight cosmetic upgrade. As you scroll further, you’ll also find an expanded Stats strip, which we’ve brought across from our league sections. Just as it does there, the homepage stats strip will convert into a live scores ticker when games are being played.

Our popular league sections covering the Premier League, LaLiga, Serie A and Bundesliga remain, but they are now broken up by our FP Originals blocks.

For these longer features, you can rotate through the Story Signals to get a quick idea of the subjects and themes covered before clicking through. Story Signals are just one of a number of smaller upgrades we’ve introduced to make the homepage more interactive and useful.

Our video section has also been upgraded and will continue to feature the latest clips from our interviews.

Further down, you’ll find the main FP Originals feature section, bringing together the latest from our Opinion and Exclusives sections, including our interviews, comment pieces, columnists and expert voices.

And one more step down is FP Activity.

This is something we’re particularly excited about. FP Activity shows not only what is proving popular with readers on Football Presse, but also what people are using AI agents to retrieve from the website.

As far as we know, this is the first time a measurement like this has been incorporated into a football publication’s homepage, and we think it offers a fascinating glimpse into how people are beginning to discover and consume information through AI.

As before, all of our content is translated into eight other languages.

A big thank you to everyone taking advantage of our different language versions. The response from our Chinese and Dutch readers in particular has been amazing.

Thank you to everyone for your continued support of Football Presse and for the goodwill you’ve shown us. We’ve been genuinely bowled over by the response since our launch earlier this year.

And there’s plenty more to come.

We have more features and improvements planned for the coming weeks and months, and we’re always interested in hearing what you think. If you have an idea, would like to see something added to FP, or simply want to get in touch, you can reach us through the Contact Page or email me directly at: [email protected]

Again, thank you for your support.

Enjoy the new Football Presse homepage!
