The Czech, who joined Manchester United's academy from Sigma Olomouc in 2020, is yet to make a competitive first-team appearance for the club despite loan spells at Accrington Stanley, Bristol City and Austrian side FC Blau-Weiss Linz.
He played the second half of United's 1-0 pre-season defeat to Wrexham on Saturday, keeping a clean sheet, before making his intentions clear afterwards.
"I feel great and ready to go again. Someday I hope to be a No1," Vitek told reporters in the mixed zone. "At the moment I am still here, but we will see, I hope (I can leave). I hope there will be some interest. You will know when things are more concrete."
Belgium international Senne Lammens is comfortably established as United's first-choice goalkeeper, while the free signing of Karl Darlow earlier this month and Tom Heaton's contract extension have further reduced any realistic path to first-team football for Vitek at Old Trafford this season.
The 22-year-old said he had no preference between a loan and a permanent departure as he searches for regular game time.
"I am ready to go for both, to be fair," he said. "Depends what the club wants, depends on the options, we'll see.
"There is interest on the table, but we are hoping to get the best one. My mind is the same, I want to play every week, that is the goal for next season. I think hopefully we will find out soon where that is gonna be."
Vitek also reflected on his development since his last permanent United appearance in youth football, pointing to his loan spells as key to his growth both as a person and a player.
"I think I have grown in the past two and a half years, I've been on a few loans," he said. "I have grown person-wise, and on the pitch as well. I feel ready before the season for a loan."
Vitek signed a new contract with United until 2028 last summer, a deal that reflected the club's continued faith in his long-term potential even as his path to regular first-team football has narrowed. He was part of United's FA Youth Cup-winning side in 2022 alongside current first-team players Kobbie Mainoo and Alejandro Garnacho, and has continued to be capped at various youth levels for the Czech Republic since.
Standing at 6ft 6in, Vitek has drawn praise for his commanding presence and distribution during his loan spells, most notably during a productive season with Bristol City in the Championship last term, where his performances began attracting interest from other clubs.
Scottish sides Rangers and Celtic have both been credited with an interest in the goalkeeper in recent weeks, though it remains unclear whether either would be willing to meet United's valuation for a permanent deal.
