Vinicius Júnior and Jude Bellingham were involved in a heated on-field exchange during Real Madrid's Champions League exit at Bayern Munich on Wednesday night.

Cameras picked up the Brazilian telling the Englishman to be quiet after a passing dispute in the penalty area.

The incident occurred in the 82nd minute at the Allianz Arena, with the aggregate score level at 4-4 and Eduardo Camavinga not yet sent off. Dayot Upamecano lost control of the ball inside the Bayern box, Vinicius burst into the area at pace, and Bellingham called for the ball. Vinicius failed to play the pass, Upamecano recovered his position and the danger passed. After the phase of play ended with a throw-in for Real Madrid, Bellingham turned to Vinicius and reproached him.

Vinicius's response was caught clearly by Movistar cameras. "What do you want? Shut up and close your mouth," the Brazilian said from a distance, visibly agitated.

According to UEFA's official passing data for the match, Bellingham played four passes to Vinicius during the game. Vinicius played none to Bellingham. Despite the friction, Vinicius did contribute a key moment, providing the assist for Kylian Mbappé's goal that briefly put Real Madrid 3-2 up on the night and level on aggregate.

Bayern ultimately progressed 6-4 on aggregate after Luis Díaz and Michael Olise scored late goals to complete a 4-3 win at the Allianz Arena, knocking Real Madrid out of the competition in what was their second consecutive trophyless season.
