Nahuel Molina completed his medical at the Campus Bio-Medico on Monday and travelled to Trigoria to sign a four-year contract worth around €2.5 million net per season, with AS Roma set to confirm the move officially alongside his first interview in giallorosso.
The Argentine right-back, who joins on an initial package reported at around €18 million from Atlético Madrid, gives Gian Piero Gasperini a direct replacement for Zeki Çelik, who left for Juventus.
Molina's arrival does not mark the end of Roma's business out wide. The countdown can now officially begin on Rodrigo Mora, with the Portuguese attacking midfielder increasingly close to joining the club after Roma's directors tasted success with the additions of Mason Greenwood and Crysencio Summerville.
Talks with Porto have entered their final stages, and contacts continued through the night as all parties move closer to finalising terms. The 2007-born talent is eager to get the deal done and is understood to be keen to begin working under Gasperini as soon as possible, with recent contacts described as positive both with Porto and with the player's agent, Jorge Mendes.
