"I'm delighted whenever representatives of Morocco get to play for big clubs. Bayern Munich obviously belongs to that category," Ouahbi said at a press conference before Saturday's match.
Saibari, 25, gave Bayern Munich fans a glimpse of what to expect when he scored in Morocco's opening 1-1 draw with Brazil.
Ouahbi said he had no concerns that the player's looming transfer would distract him during the tournament.
"He understands that the priority right now is Morocco. We're very relaxed about it," Ouahbi said. "It will be a great club, and we want our players to be at the best clubs."
PSV Eindhoven star Saibari's move to the German champions has already been reported as close to completion, with the transfer expected to be finalised once the World Cup concludes. His goal against Brazil offered an early sign of the quality Bayern are set to add to their squad, with the midfielder having established himself as one of Morocco's most influential creative players over the course of the tournament's opening rounds.
Bayern's interest in Saibari has been tracked for some time, with the German club viewing the attacking midfielder as a versatile addition capable of operating across multiple positions in their forward line. His performances at the World Cup have only strengthened the sense within the club that the move represents shrewd business completed well ahead of any potential auction for his signature.
For Morocco, keeping Saibari focused through the remainder of the tournament will be important to their hopes of progressing from a group that already includes a draw against Brazil, with Ouahbi's public show of support for the transfer designed in part to remove any distraction around the player's situation before facing Scotland.
