Manchester United have sent two more young goalkeepers out on loan for the season, with Harrison joining Scottish Championship side Greenock Morton and Honor heading to National League North outfit Southport, both moves subject to registration.
Harrison, 20, becomes a Morton player until the end of the 2026/27 campaign in what is already his third temporary switch away from Old Trafford since joining the club's academy from Stevenage in 2022.
He was a key figure in United's Under-18s during their double-winning 2023/24 season under Adam Lawrence, collecting the Denzil Haroun Reserve-Team Player of the Year award on the Old Trafford pitch, and has since trained regularly with United's senior goalkeepers at Carrington, even being named among the substitutes for a first-team Premier League fixture earlier this year.
His loan path has taken in Chester City and, last season, Shrewsbury Town in League Two; he now moves to Morton, who finished eighth in the Scottish Championship last term and begin their campaign this coming weekend.
Honor, also 20, arrived at United only in February following a move from Blackburn Rovers and has been part of the club's Under-21 setup since, an England youth international who stands at 6ft 5in. He has already had a taste of life at Southport, featuring in a pre-season friendly against Fleetwood Town before his loan was formally agreed, and joins a large group of young goalkeepers at Carrington that also includes his own younger brother Zico, who progresses into United's Under-15s this year.
Both departures form part of a broader reshuffle of United's goalkeeping department this summer, which has also seen Andre Onana rejoin Trabzonspor on loan and Radek Vitek attract interest from clubs in Germany and England, while Karl Darlow arrived to provide senior cover. With competition for places between the sticks intensifying following the arrival of Senne Lammens as first-choice last summer, loan spells such as these are expected to continue for several more of United's academy goalkeepers before the transfer window closes.
