Manchester United are reportedly among the leading contenders to sign Endrick in January, with the Brazilian forward facing an uncertain future at Real Madrid after struggling for regular first-team football.

The 20-year-old has made just a four-minute LaLiga appearance this season, prompting fresh speculation that he could leave the Spanish club when the winter transfer window opens.

Endrick joined Real Madrid from Palmeiras in 2024 and spent the second half of last season on loan at Lyon, where he impressed with five goals and seven assists in 16 league appearances.

His performances in France revived hopes that he could establish himself at Madrid, but opportunities have been scarce since his return. Despite being retained during the summer transfer window, he has struggled to secure a meaningful role.

According to Spanish journalist Juan Jesus, Endrick is expected to leave Madrid in January, with Manchester United among the clubs showing interest.

The report suggests United are currently leading the Premier League pursuit, although AC Milan are said to be well positioned in the wider race. Borussia Dortmund are also reportedly monitoring the situation.

Endrick was linked with several clubs during the summer, but Madrid ultimately kept him at the Santiago Bernabeu. His lack of playing time has now reopened the possibility of a mid-season departure.

The Brazilian’s representatives are reportedly seeking a permanent transfer or a loan deal that includes an obligation to buy. That preference could influence negotiations, particularly if Madrid would rather retain long-term control over one of their most highly rated young attackers.

United’s interest would offer Endrick a potential route into English football, where the club are looking to strengthen their attacking options. His versatility, having operated as both a central forward and in wider positions, could make him an appealing addition.

However, any deal remains uncertain. Madrid would need to decide whether to sanction an exit, while United would have to agree a suitable transfer structure with the Spanish club.

Endrick’s successful spell at Lyon demonstrated his ability to contribute when given regular minutes, but his immediate priority is finding a situation in which he can continue developing.

Milan’s reported position means United may face competition from Italy, while Dortmund’s interest adds another possible destination. The final decision will depend on the offers available and Madrid’s assessment of the forward’s role in the second half of the season.

For now, United’s reported interest places them among the clubs to watch, but no agreement has been confirmed and Endrick remains a Real Madrid player.
