The Manchester City striker had been scheduled to speak to reporters ahead of Norway's Nations League meeting with Portugal on Sunday.
That appearance has now been cancelled, with TV2 reporting that Benfica duo Andreas Schjelderup and Fredrik Aursnes will instead join Norway manager Ståle Solbakken at the press conference.
Norway's media manager Morten Skjonsberg reportedly informed journalists of the change.
“We are making changes to tomorrow’s press conference,” the message reportedly read. “(Stale) Solbakken, (Fredrik) Aursnes and (Andreas) Schjelderup will be on the ground floor.”
The development comes after Manchester City were reportedly found guilty of all but one of the 115 charges brought against them by the Premier League.
City have the right to appeal the outcome and are awaiting a decision on any potential punishment.
Haaland is currently on international duty with Norway and scored twice in Thursday's 3-2 victory over Denmark.
The forward has previously discussed the charges and said he had been reassured by Manchester City's hierarchy.
“I spoke with the bosses, and in the end, I believe them,” Haaland told TIME Magazine in July last year.
“It’s such a tricky situation for me to even sit there and speak about it, because I wasn’t really involved in it.
“So I think the club knows what they’re doing. They will sort it out.”
