Tireni Aiyegbusi, Marlow Barrett, Caelan Cadamarteri, Theo Carrington, Toran Mathiesen, Xavier Parker, Jaxon Shire, Archie Thornton, Alfie Turley, Javahn Woode, Keir McMeekin and Darren Motsi have all signed full-time scholarship agreements, putting them on complete schedules with the club and into daily work with head coach Lauris Coggin's Under-18 squad throughout the coming season.
Barrett and Parker already have first-team involvement at Under-18 level to their names, having featured under previous head coach Oliver Reiss as City won both the Under-18 Premier League North title and the FA Youth Cup last season. The other ten members of the new intake will be aiming to break into that title-winning group and help retain both trophies in their debut campaigns.
Striker Aiyegbusi is known for his movement in and around the opposition box, always looking to be in the right place to convert chances. Cadamarteri, a technical and forward-thinking attacker, joined City at 15 from Sheffield Wednesday and made an immediate impression with his pace, link-up play and work rate.
Carrington has progressed through every one of Manchester City's age groups as a right-back, following the path of his older brother and former City academy player Ezra.
In goal, Mathiesen is a vocal, commanding presence who likes to dominate his box, while in midfield Shire is a tenacious, technical holding player capable of dictating tempo — attributes suited to City's style of play.
Thornton offers composure at the back and an eagerness to play out from defence, often starting attacks himself with his passing range, while Turley, a left-footed defender comfortable at centre-back or full-back, combines defensive solidity with an attacking instinct going forward.
Winger Woode brings physicality and skill to the final third and will look to make an attacking impact regularly this season. McMeekin, who joined from Hearts at 16, is a number 10 known for confident link-up play, composure in tight spaces and strong technical ability, while Motsi, who arrived from Leicester at 15, rounds out the intake as another player City expect to strengthen their Under-18 ranks.
