The Daily Mail reported the extent of interest surrounding Bowen, who at 29 is one of the most coveted players in the Premier League. Liverpool are long-term admirers and are planning a significant rebuild of their wide attacking options following Mohamed Salah's departure.
Newcastle United head coach Eddie Howe is also understood to be a genuine admirer, with Bowen identified as a potential replacement for Anthony Gordon should the England winger leave St James' Park. Everton manager David Moyes signed Bowen for West Ham United from Hull City in 2020 and has retained a strong admiration for the player throughout.
Bowen joined West Ham from Hull for around £22million and has since scored 84 goals in 278 appearances, becoming the club's captain and the most important player in the squad. His contract runs until June 2030, which ordinarily would give West Ham considerable leverage. Relegation changes the mathematics entirely — the club would face pressure to sell at a reduced price to avoid the financial collapse a Championship season would bring.
West Ham are 18th with two matches remaining. A survival-or-sale dynamic now defines Bowen's summer.
Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville has publicly backed Moyes to make a move.
"Do you know who would like Jarrod Bowen? David Moyes at Everton. Bowen at Everton, in their new stadium, playing under Moyes — that would be the perfect match."
Bowen himself is understood to be willing to stay at West Ham if they secure Premier League survival. The question is whether his club can manufacture the results to make that decision possible.
