Kane made his 125th England appearance on a landmark night and played a part in all three goals, with Vladimír Coufal scoring an own goal before the captain struck twice.
England dominated and broke the deadlock in the 27th minute. Trent Alexander-Arnold’s delivery was dangerous and Kane helped create the opening before Coufal put through his own goal.
Kane then doubled the advantage in the 40th minute, finishing from close range to take his international tally to 90 goals.
The Bayern Munich striker completed his brace in the 57th minute, again finding the net as England moved closer to securing qualification for the Nations League finals.
Kane was substituted in the closing stages to a standing ovation in front of a packed Wembley, having delivered another decisive performance for Thomas Tuchel’s side.
“It was the perfect night to finish the camp for me,” Kane told BBC Radio 5 Live. “A big night to equal the record and an extremely proud achievement to reach. As always those achievements feel even better when you win the game and for me personally to score a couple of goals as well it is a nice night to celebrate now.”
The captain also explained why he continues to focus on the team despite his milestones.
“I always want to help the team reach the level. The team and the unit is the most important thing,” he said. “We spoke before the game about making sure we finished the camp well and backing up the performance we had on the weekend and we did that. That makes me proud to be the captain of this great group.”
Tuchel was equally pleased with England’s display.
“I am very satisfied. We had a very good camp and again a very good performance,” the England manager said. “We were totally dominant, created good moments, scored nice goals and deserved the win. The effort was there, the quality was there. It was an excellent two weeks.”
Tuchel also praised Kane after his latest milestone, calling him a legend of the English game and praising his influence as captain.
England have now won three matches in the camp, with clean sheets in each victory, while Kane leaves the international window with 91 goals and 125 caps.
