Juventus are reportedly preparing to revisit their interest in Alisson Becker as the Liverpool goalkeeper approaches the final year of his contract.

The 34-year-old Brazil international is due to become a free agent at the end of the season, with no indication that Liverpool have opened talks over a contract extension.

Alisson remained at Anfield last summer despite interest from Italy, although the arrival of Giorgi Mamardashvili in 2024 had already raised questions about the long-term goalkeeping situation at Liverpool.

The Brazilian has continued to remain part of the first-team squad, but his contract situation leaves open the possibility of a departure next summer.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus continue to have Alisson on their list of potential targets.

The Turin club reportedly came close to reaching an agreement with Liverpool previously but were unable to complete a deal for the experienced goalkeeper.

Juventus could now have another opportunity if Alisson reaches the end of his Liverpool contract without signing a renewal.

The prospect of returning to Italy is understood to be an attractive possibility for the goalkeeper, who established his reputation in Serie A with Roma before moving to Liverpool in 2018.

For Juventus, signing an experienced goalkeeper without a transfer fee would represent a different route to the deal they were unable to complete previously.

Liverpool's position will be central to the situation, particularly if negotiations over a new contract do not begin.

Alisson has been an important figure at Anfield since arriving from Roma, helping Liverpool compete for major honours during his time on Merseyside.

However, with his current agreement approaching its conclusion, the club could face a decision over whether to extend the relationship or allow the Brazil international to leave.

Juventus are not the only club capable of monitoring the situation, but the Italian giants have already shown a willingness to pursue Alisson.

A return to Italy would also bring the goalkeeper back to the league where he first established himself among Europe's leading players.

For now, Alisson remains a Liverpool player, but his contract situation means his future is likely to become increasingly prominent as the season progresses.

Juventus, meanwhile, appear ready to test the possibility of bringing him back to Italy once again.
