French outlet But! reports that Juventus remain interested in the Lyon defender and could revisit the possibility of bringing him to Turin in January. The 33-year-old's contract with Lyon runs until June 2027, potentially giving Juventus an opportunity to negotiate a relatively modest fee as the agreement moves closer to its final year.
Tagliafico had been seriously considered by the Bianconeri during the previous transfer window, but the deal ultimately collapsed late in the summer. Juventus needed to move Juan Cabal out of the squad before making room for the Argentine, and that departure did not materialise in time.
The situation could therefore return to the agenda in January, when Juventus may have greater flexibility to pursue the deal.
Meanwhile, another player with a familiar Juventus surname has been making his own progress at the club.
Davide Marchisio, son of former Juventus midfielder Claudio Marchisio, has been training with Luciano Spalletti's senior squad. The younger Marchisio is also a midfielder and is currently a regular starter for Juventus Under-18.
He has made four appearances this season, contributing one goal and two assists.
