The 22-year-old has scored seven league goals in seven matchdays, making him the division’s leading scorer after his hat-trick in Frosinone’s 4-2 victory over Sassuolo. His form has transformed his profile after previous spells in which opportunities to establish himself at the highest level were limited.
Raimondo belongs to Bologna, who hold his contract until 2028, but he is currently playing for Frosinone under Massimiliano Alvini. Juventus are reportedly considering whether to move for him in January, with the information emerging through Sportmediaset and journalist Sandro Sabatini.
The report says Juventus want to strengthen an attack that has not consistently delivered the expected level of performance. Raimondo’s scoring record has made him an attractive option, particularly as the club look for a striker who can provide a regular threat in the penalty area.
However, any move would require negotiations with more than one club. Bologna would have to agree to a transfer involving a player under contract, while Frosinone would also need to be involved because Raimondo is currently part of their squad.
Frosinone had already pursued the striker before securing promotion to Serie A in 2026. His current performances have strengthened the value of that decision, with Alvini’s work cited as an important part of his development.
Raimondo has been careful not to get carried away by the attention. After scoring against Sassuolo, he played down comparisons with established stars and focused instead on maintaining his form.
“Honestly, the comparisons are too much,” he said. “I think about giving my best in every match, following the manager and continuing like this.”
He also credited Alvini with helping him improve after a difficult previous campaign.
“I arrived after a season in which I was terrible, and last year we won the league,” Raimondo said. “Thanks to him, I’m making enormous improvements. I can only thank him.”
That progress has made the striker a player to watch ahead of the winter window. Juventus would face competition if they decide to pursue him, and there is no confirmed agreement with Bologna or Frosinone.
For now, Raimondo’s immediate task is to keep scoring and help Frosinone build on their return to the top flight. If his form continues, January could bring a significant decision for the club that owns his contract.
