Kenneth Taylor has established himself as an important midfielder for Lazio, but Juventus and Premier League clubs could renew their interest in the Dutchman during the next transfer windows.

Taylor’s season began amid uncertainty after a disagreement with coach Gennaro Gattuso during a training session in late July. The midfielder was told to leave the pitch and return to the dressing room, with the incident attracting attention because the session was being streamed by the club.

The situation was quickly resolved. Taylor returned to training later that day, and the episode did not appear to cause lasting damage to his relationship with Gattuso.

Since then, the midfielder has regained consistency and earned another Netherlands call-up, putting the difficult start behind him. His performances have strengthened his position in the Lazio side, although his longer-term future in Rome could still attract attention.

According to Il Messaggero, clubs from the Premier League could revisit their interest in Taylor, while Juventus may also consider another approach. The Italian club have previously been linked with the midfielder.

Taylor is reportedly happy with his decision to join Lazio in January and wants to continue developing in the Italian capital. He has also been taking weekly Italian lessons to improve his communication and become more integrated into the club and its surroundings.

Lazio are in a strong contractual position. Taylor is under contract until 2030, giving the club considerable protection if potential suitors make an approach.

Nevertheless, the situation could become more complicated if Lazio face further restrictions in the transfer market or need to address their finances. In those circumstances, interest from England and Juventus could become more relevant.

Any possible move would depend on several factors, including Lazio’s willingness to negotiate, the player’s own ambitions and the sporting project available to him. A long contract does not necessarily rule out a transfer, but it gives the club greater control over discussions.

For now, there is no confirmed bid or announced negotiation involving Taylor. The reported interest remains a possible scenario rather than evidence that a departure is imminent.

Lazio will hope that their sporting ambitions and Taylor’s growing importance to the team persuade him to continue in Rome. His performances over the coming months are likely to shape the level of attention he attracts before the next transfer window opens.
