The right-back has become an established part of Manuel Pellegrini's side and is one of the players whose deal expires at the end of the season after another consistent spell in the Betis team.
According to AS, the club intend to put a renewal proposal to Bellerín and there is confidence that the defender's own preference will not create an obstacle.
Bellerín has previously made clear how strongly he feels about continuing his career in Seville after returning to the club following his spell with Barcelona.
“You can imagine my answer. When I decided to return here, I thought about playing all the football I have left here. There is a good relationship with Manu, with the board... It is something we have always talked about, but the club knows how I feel. An announcement? If it were up to me, for life.”
The defender played an important role in the Real Betis side that won the Copa del Rey in 2022, providing the cross for Borja Iglesias to score in the final.
His return to Heliópolis followed his year at Barcelona, with Bellerín having always retained a desire to become an important player for Betis again.
Pellegrini also values the experience Bellerín gained during his years at Arsenal, with that background providing an important part of the defender's profile within the squad.
The right side currently offers the coach several options. Bellerín has been the most frequently used player in the position, while academy product Ángel Ortiz provides an alternative and Aitor Ruibal remains another option trusted by Pellegrini.
That competition means there is currently no immediate need for a change in the position, even with Bellerín's contract situation unresolved.
For Bellerín, however, the message has remained consistent. He is happy at Betis and would like his future to continue at the club where he has already enjoyed some of the most significant moments of his career.
The next step will be for Betis and the defender to discuss the terms of a new agreement, with both sides appearing to have reasons to continue their relationship beyond 2027.
