Manchester City, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur are all preparing moves and Atletico Madrid are working on an opening bid.
The Swedish midfielder, who joined Frankfurt from Malmö FF in 2023 and has established himself as one of the Bundesliga's most complete young midfielders, is under contract until 2029. Sporting director Markus Krösche has publicly set a starting price of €60m to €70m, with Frankfurt hoping a competitive auction could push the final figure toward €80m.
According to Fussball Daten, Manchester City have made first contact over a possible transfer, Liverpool view the player as an ideal addition to their midfield, and Tottenham Hotspur are prepared to break their own transfer record to secure him.
Atletico Madrid are understood to be preparing an opening bid of €30m to €40m — significantly below Eintracht Frankfurt's valuation, though the Spanish club view it as a starting position in what they expect to be an extended negotiation.
The situation has been complicated by Sweden manager Graham Potter's decision to leave Larsson out of the national squad for the World Cup this summer. Frankfurt were furious at the omission, with Krösche publicly criticising the decision.
Bild subsequently reported that the club's anger was partly driven by the concern that the snub could dampen Larsson's market value at the worst possible moment.
Larsson contributed nine goals and five assists across all competitions in 38 appearances this season, making him Frankfurt's most influential creative player.
He has not publicly commented on his future. Frankfurt will push for maximum value having lost European football for next season, a factor that gives the player's camp leverage while simultaneously increasing the club's need to sell.
