Amid competition for places at the top of Real Madrid's attack, 20-year-old Endrick has found game time hard to come by so far this season under José Mourinho, sparking fresh speculation over his future.
Back at the club after a loan spell with Olympique Lyonnais, Endrick's situation has already attracted interest from clubs in Italy and England ahead of January. According to 365Scores, though, the Brazilian's focus remains solely on succeeding at Real Madrid.
Thiago Freitas, Endrick's agent and a Roc Nation Sports executive who has represented the player throughout his career, was firm in stating that no request to leave has been made.
"Endrick hasn't asked to leave the club, and he's never told me he wants to look for another opportunity to play elsewhere," Freitas said. "Everything being said about this is completely false, and nothing like that has happened."
Endrick's previous loan to Lyon, in the second half of last season, was viewed as a success, with the striker recording eight goals and seven assists in 21 appearances across all competitions before returning to Madrid this summer. He arrived back at the club hoping the change of scenery, and a fresh pre-season under Mourinho, would translate into a more prominent role in attack.
With Mbappé firmly established as Real Madrid's central attacking reference, however, Endrick has found opportunities limited, and reports of interest from abroad are unlikely to disappear regardless of his agent's denial.
For now, the message from his camp is unambiguous: any decision on his future will wait, at the earliest, until the January window, and it will not be driven by a request to leave that Freitas insists was never made.
Endrick joined Real Madrid from Palmeiras in a deal worth in excess of âŹ60 million before his 18th birthday in 2022, eventually moving to the BernabĂ©u in 2024. He has scored seven goals in 40 appearances for the club's first team, struggling for consistent minutes behind Real Madrid's array of attacking options, with the loan to Lyon offering his most sustained run of games to date.
