Brentford thrashed Championship side Birmingham City 6-1, with Callum Wilson marking his first competitive start for the club with a deflected strike inside six minutes. Birmingham levelled through Demarai Gray before Aaron Hickey restored Brentford's lead, and further goals from Nathan Collins (two), Mikkel Damsgaard and substitute Igor Thiago completed the rout — Brentford's ninth goal in two matches following Saturday's 3-0 win over Tottenham.
