Carlos Forbs is reportedly being monitored by AS Roma, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur after impressing for Club Brugge, where his deal runs until 2029.

The 22-year-old Portugal international has established himself as an attacking threat in Belgium since moving from Ajax in the summer of 2025, and his performances have drawn attention from clubs in Italy and England.

ASRomaLive reported that Roma have watched Forbs, with Manchester United and Tottenham also among the clubs following his progress. The report says the winger’s pace and ability to beat defenders have made him an appealing option for teams looking to add penetration in wide areas.

Forbs has made an immediate impact this season, recording three goals and six assists in 11 appearances across competitions, according to the report. His overall return since joining Club Brugge stands at 14 goals and 20 assists in 63 competitive matches.

Club Brugge head coach Ivan Leko praised the forward after last week’s 3-0 victory over Lens, in which Forbs scored the second goal.

“He is absolutely fantastic to have in the squad. He has enormous speed, quality on the ball and is dangerous in one-on-one situations,” Leko said.

The performance against Lens added to Forbs’ growing reputation as a winger capable of changing a game through direct running and close control. His record at Club Brugge has also helped him remain involved with Portugal’s national set-up.

Forbs joined the Belgian club after leaving Ajax in 2025. He had moved to Amsterdam from Manchester City in 2023, having spent much of his youth development in England after moving from Portugal. Club Brugge announced a contract running until the summer of 2029 when he signed.

That deal means any interested club would need to negotiate with the Belgian side rather than wait for his contract to run down. No formal offer has been reported, and the current links do not indicate that a transfer is close.

AS Roma’s interest would give Forbs a potential route into Serie A, while Manchester United and Tottenham could offer a return to English football. For now, the reported attention reflects his performances rather than a confirmed move, with Club Brugge holding the contractual position.
