L'Interista reports that Inter are seeking a proven, experienced defender to replace the departing Francesco Acerbi, whose exit this summer leaves a gap that both youth and seniority need to address.
Bremer, who turns 29 this month, fits the profile β though his recurring injury absences, which have cost him 10 league matches this season, give some internal pause.
Speaking ahead of this weekend's Milan-Juventus derby at San Siro, Bremer was candid about his ambitions in a way that raised eyebrows at Juventus.
"The Juventus is floating for six years. I feel good here, but it is important to start winning again. To be considered a champion you have to win, and that is what I want to try to do. I am 29 years old and I don't have much time left, I want to win."
His contract runs until 2027. Juventus are not looking to sell and view him as a cornerstone of the defensive structure under Luciano Spalletti.
Whether Bremer's desire to compete at the highest level β reinforced by his words β can be satisfied at Juventus or whether it requires a move elsewhere is the question that will define his summer.
Juventus continue to pursue Inter midfielder Davide Frattesi separately, with Spalletti an open admirer.
