Arsenal and Tottenham are showing interest in Marseille forward Mason Greenwood as the French club looks to sell players to ease Financial Fair Play concerns, though Roma remain in the race for the 24-year-old.

Greenwood's career has been reignited since his move to Marseille, but a return to the Premier League could now be back on the table for the 24-year-old.

The forward scored 16 goals and provided seven assists in 32 league appearances last season after joining Marseille from Manchester United in the summer of 2024.

Greenwood has long been linked with a fresh move despite holding a contract until the summer of 2029. Roma have been the most consistent suitor, reportedly already in agreement with the player over personal terms.

L'Equipe now reports that a return to England and the Premier League could be on the cards instead, with Arsenal and Tottenham both said to be showing interest in the winger.

Marseille need to sell players this summer to avoid issues with Financial Fair Play, and Greenwood is among those available on the market.

New sporting director Gregory Lorenzi confirmed as much to L'Equipe.

"He is one of the players we are seriously considering selling. If an opportunity arises we obviously have to think about it," Lorenzi said.

"But there is the club's position, the player's position, and it's also up to us to manage that internally and find the best possible solution for everyone involved."

AS Roma remain in the picture alongside the London clubs, with Manchester United holding a 40% sell-on clause on any future transfer.

Marseille are believed to be seeking around โ‚ฌ50m to part with their star this summer.

The Daily Mail reports, however, that Tottenham have no plans to sign Greenwood ahead of next season, despite manager Roberto De Zerbi being a long-standing admirer of the player and having been at Marseille when Greenwood originally signed.

That leaves Arsenal as the more concrete Premier League option, alongside Roma's continued interest from Italy, with Marseille's need to balance their books this summer likely to accelerate a resolution to Greenwood's situation regardless of which destination he ultimately prefers.
