Arsenal’s Premier League title celebrations rolled through the night and into the early hours after Mikel Arteta’s side ended the club’s 22-year wait to become champions again.

Players were pictured outside Emirates Stadium at around 05:00 BST on Wednesday morning after celebrations continued following confirmation of Arsenal’s first league title since the Invincibles season of 2003-04.

England international Eberechi Eze posted photos on Instagram alongside Declan Rice, Bukayo Saka and Dutch defender Jurrien Timber outside the stadium in north London.

Timber also shared footage from Arsenal’s training ground showing Saka standing beside a blacked-out Premier League trophy installation designed to illuminate once the title was secured.

“Light that up,” Saka said in the video.

“Let me tell you something. Twenty-two years, 22 years. There was laughing, there was joking, they’re not laughing any more.”

The celebrations marked the end of Arsenal’s long wait to reclaim the Premier League crown after several near misses under Arteta in recent seasons.

Saka, Rice and captain Martin Odegaard have become central figures in the club’s revival, while summer signing Eze played a major role during the run-in after arriving from Crystal Palace.

One of the most shared clips from the night came from teenage defender Myles Lewis-Skelly, who referenced criticism Arsenal faced during previous title challenges.

“They called us bottlers,” Lewis-Skelly said while holding a champagne bottle.

“And now we’re holding the bottle.”

Arsenal’s celebrations are expected to continue later this week with an open-top bus parade planned through north London.

For Arteta’s squad, the scenes outside Emirates Stadium before sunrise reflected how much ending the club’s title drought meant to players and supporters alike.
