Former Norwich City striker Paul McVeigh revisits his self-described "love-hate" relationship with former Canaries manager Nigel Worthington.

The pair spent six years together at Carrow Road, which included winning the Championship title and promotion to the Premier League in 2004.

However, as McVeigh recalls, he and Worthington never saw eye-to-eye and admits his former manager tried to offload him no less than five times during their time together.

McVeigh goes into great detail about the first time Worthington sought to push him out - with trials at Bury and Oldham organised - before the Northern Ireland international pulled off a career-transforming performance.
