Soulé is considered surplus to requirements at Roma given the presence of Mason Greenwood and Paulo Dybala, but the club's deadline hopes appear unlikely to be met given his firm resistance to a Saudi move.
Al Hilal and Al Ahli have already been linked, and according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, newly promoted Saudi Pro League side Al Diraiyah have now also expressed an interest.
The player holds out hope that a club from the Bundesliga or Serie A will emerge, which would allow him to remain in European football. Soulé is contracted at AS Roma until 2029 and has made 81 appearances for the club, scoring 12 goals. His career also includes spells at Juventus and Frosinone.
Whether Roma can generate the funds they need without his departure — or eventually force through a deal to one of the Saudi clubs — will depend on whether a European offer materialises before the window closes.
Soulé joined Roma from Juventus in 2024 and has shown enough quality in Serie A to attract significant interest, but the club's need to raise funds has pushed them toward a sale they cannot currently force. The Saudi Pro League remains his most realistic destination financially, even if it is not where his preference lies.
The addition of Al Diraiyah — newly promoted to the Saudi top flight — alongside the existing interest from Al Hilal and Al Ahli gives Roma at least three potential buyers, though without Soulé's consent the club cannot force a deal. His patience in holding out for a European move may prove the decisive factor in how this summer concludes.
