Roma sporting director Tony D'Amico has made Keinan Davis his priority attacking addition, with Udinese braced for a summer of significant departures.

AS Roma have identified Davis as a priority attacking target this summer, with the Udinese striker sitting at the top of new sporting director D'Amico's wishlist for the transfer window.

The 28-year-old, who scored ten goals and contributed four assists in thirty Serie A appearances last season, has been earmarked as the ideal support option for Donyell Malen in Gian Piero Gasperini's attack, according to reports from Tuttomercatoweb.

Davis, who is English-born with Jamaican heritage, declared for Jamaica earlier in his career before representing England at under-20 level.

He joined Udinese from Aston Villa in September 2023 for €2.3 million after struggling for consistent game time in the Midlands, and has steadily established himself as one of the more reliable centre-forwards in the Italian top flight.

Interest in Davis is not new. Juventus were linked with the striker earlier in the year, and Galatasaray had also been monitoring him, meaning Roma face potential competition for his signature.

Udinese are in a period of flux. Defender Oumar Solet is widely expected to move to Inter Milan, NicolΓ² Zaniolo β€” freshly purchased from Galatasaray β€” has already expressed public frustration over wages and is weighing his options, and the club broadly anticipate a busy summer of outgoings.

Davis's contract at Friuli runs until the summer of 2027 with an option to extend for a further year. Reports from earlier this year suggested Udinese could seek in the region of €10-15 million for the striker on a standalone basis, though no asking price has been confirmed in connection with Roma's current interest.
