According to Turkish outlet Fotomac, Bursaspor have now been offered the opportunity to sign the midfielder, with the club considering whether to make a move.
Talks with Pogbaâs representatives have reportedly begun as Bursaspor assess the possibility of bringing the former Manchester United and Juventus player to Turkey.
Bursaspor currently play in the second tier and are sitting second in the table with 19 points from their opening eight matches. The clubâs stated objective is promotion to the SĂŒper Lig.
A move would represent a significant change of level for Pogba, who spent much of his career at the top of European football.
He came through Manchester Unitedâs academy before establishing himself at Juventus, returning to Old Trafford in 2016 for a then-world-record transfer fee.
Pogba won the World Cup with France in 2018 and made 91 appearances for his country, scoring 11 goals.
His international career ended after a prolonged period away from football, with his suspension keeping him out of the game before his return with Monaco.
The midfielderâs spell in the principality ultimately produced limited playing time, however, with his six league appearances leaving him without a regular role before the two sides parted company.
Bursaspor are now considering whether Pogba could help their promotion campaign, with discussions involving his representatives understood to be underway.
The clubâs position near the top of the Turkish second tier has created the possibility of a move that would take Pogba away from the European elite as he looks for his next opportunity.
