Manchester City, Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea, Borussia Dortmund, Ajax and Barcelona are all keeping tabs on the FC Copenhagen midfielder, according to Danish outlet Tipsbladet, with several of those clubs already following him before he left AGF Aarhus for Copenhagen on his 15th birthday in March.
Houira signed a three-year contract with FC Copenhagen that day, and Tipsbladet reports that some of the interested clubs have travelled to Denmark to watch him in person. He continues to develop with players older than him at the club despite his age.
The left-footed central midfielder cannot represent Denmark at any level because he does not hold a Danish passport, even though that he would be an automatic pick for the country's youth sides if he were eligible.
He has instead turned to his Moroccan roots, making his debut for their under-16s in June before his call-up this month to the under-17 squad.
Interest from France and Spain has also been reported, adding to a growing list of admirers for a player who only turned 15 in March.
Christian Wilkens, FC Copenhagen's head of scouting and recruitment for the under-14 to under-17 age groups, said the club was delighted to sign a player with such a strong technical and tactical package. His contract at Parken runs until the summer of 2029.
