Moise Kean believes Como have the foundations to reach the highest level, pointing to the club’s close-knit atmosphere and his immediate connection with head coach Cesc Fabregas as reasons for his optimism.

The striker discussed his new club in an interview with Cronache di Spogliatoio, describing an environment where the collective spirit has made a strong impression on him.

“It’s a very close-knit structure, and that creates a real family atmosphere. I’ve always liked the project here. It can reach the top level,” Kean said.

His comments reflect an attraction to more than the footballing opportunities on offer at Como. Kean spoke positively about the way the club is organised and the sense of togetherness he has found, suggesting he believes those qualities can help the team grow.

The forward was also asked about his first conversation with Fabregas, and made clear that the coach’s enthusiasm immediately appealed to him.

“The manager came in full of energy. I really like that, because it fits very well with the way I approach matches. We can do great things,” Kean said.

That connection could be important as Kean looks to settle into a new chapter of his career. The striker has experienced different environments in Italian football, and his comments suggest he sees Como’s ambitions and internal culture as a strong fit for his own approach to the game.

Fabregas’s intensity appears to have been a particular attraction. Kean did not simply praise the manager’s ideas; he highlighted the energy with which he approached their first conversation, an attitude the forward feels matches his own mentality when preparing for matches.

The striker’s confidence in the project is clear, although his comments stop short of making specific predictions about what Como can achieve this season. Instead, he pointed to the potential he sees in the club and the relationship he hopes to develop with the coach.

For Como, bringing in a forward who believes in the wider project offers another indication of the ambition surrounding the club. Kean’s endorsement is rooted in the environment he has encountered and the impression Fabregas made from the outset.

“I think we can do great things,” he said, summing up his confidence in the partnership.

Kean’s message is ultimately one of belief: he likes the direction Como are taking, values the family atmosphere and feels the manager’s approach suits him. Whether that promise translates into results will be judged on the pitch, but the striker has made his enthusiasm for the project clear.
