Brahim Diaz remains on Juventus' radar, but the Moroccan playmaker has made clear his only priority is Real Madrid, comments that came through following his country's 3-0 win over Canada. With the former Milan man uninterested in a return to Serie A, the Bianconeri are now having to look elsewhere to strengthen their attacking options.
One name back in the conversation is Albert Gudmundsson, who has been offered to Juventus by his representatives, according to La Stampa.
The Iceland international has struggled to recapture the form that made him such a standout at Genoa since moving to Fiorentina, and is said to be seeking a fresh environment, ideally at a bigger club, to show what he is capable of again. It remains to be seen whether Juventus will pursue the move seriously or simply keep the option in reserve while other targets are assessed.
Between the sticks, meanwhile, Juventus have swung firmly behind Tottenham goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario after failing to land any of their earlier targets. The Italy international was not first choice on Juventus' list, but Corriere dello Sport reports that Spurs have opened the door to a loan with an obligation to buy, terms considered highly favourable by the Bianconeri, who are unlikely to let the opportunity slip.
Juventus had previously pushed for Emiliano Martinez, only for Aston Villa's steep valuation, reported at around โฌ10 million, and the goalkeeper's high wages to stall talks. Enquiries over Mile Svilar and Zion Suzuki followed, but Roma and Parma made clear neither would be sold for anything below an unrealistic fee for the Turin club.
A move for Alisson Becker was also explored before the Liverpool goalkeeper opted to stay at Anfield. With those avenues closed off one by one, Vicario has emerged as the most workable solution left on the table.
