Guglielmo Vicario's arrival from Tottenham has reshaped the pecking order between the posts at Juventus, with the club settling on the former Spurs man as their new starting goalkeeper.
That decision has opened the door to a possible exit for Di Gregorio, who signed from Monza but risks finding limited game time next season under head coach Luciano Spalletti. Juventus are exploring the market to find him a new home, and according to Il Messaggero, the club have made a fresh enquiry for Mandas, a goalkeeper they have tracked before.
The link between the two clubs could develop into a swap involving both goalkeepers, with Juventus prepared to offer Di Gregorio as part of any deal for Mandas. For now, it remains an idea to be developed rather than an advanced negotiation, though the new hierarchy established by Vicario's signing could encourage further contact between the two sides.
Elsewhere at Continassa, Juventus are closing in on a deal to sign free agent midfielder Franck Kessié.
The Ivorian, who left Al-Ahli a few months ago, turned down an approach from Al-Ittihad, reaffirming that Juventus remain his priority and that he is prepared to wait a little longer for the move. According to Sky Sport, the former Milan player has decided against exploring other offers.
A decisive factor in Kessié's stance has been his relationship with Juventus chief football officer Frederic Massara, whom he worked under at Milan.
Juventus are meanwhile close to reaching a settlement with Arthur over the consensual termination of his contract, a move that would free up space in the squad for another arrival. The coming days are expected to bring the negotiations to a decisive phase.
