France head coach Didier Deschamps offered his own assessment of that transformation in an interview with Sport Bild.
"Michael Olise has made an incredible development. With us at the French national team it was a little difficult, laborious at the start. But with persistence and support he has developed."
Deschamps went on to credit Bayern's head coach for playing a significant role in that progress.
"Coach Vincent Kompany also has a very large part in Michael having such a big rise. He has played an outstanding season under him, with efficiency, character and personality."
Deschamps continued by explaining why he believes a move away from Bavaria would not be in Olise's best interests this summer.
"He will continue to be very good if he stays at FC Bayern."
The France coach's comments will likely resonate strongly with Bayern's fanbase, as well as with the club's hierarchy, who share a similar view on the matter.
Honorary president Uli Hoeness and other senior figures at the club have repeatedly stressed in recent weeks that Olise is not for sale at any price.
That stance has remained consistent throughout the season, with Bayern Munich's hierarchy viewing the winger as a central figure in their plans both domestically and in the Champions League for years to come.
Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain have not given up hope of landing the winger, despite Bayern's firm public stance on his future.
Olise made his move to Bayern from Crystal Palace, and adapting to a new league and a new style of football initially took time before his performances began to match the level many had expected of him.
Olise's rise at Bayern has been one of the standout stories of the Bundesliga season, with his performances under Kompany helping to establish him as one of the most sought-after wide players in European football, often operating as a key creative outlet from the right side of Bayern's attack.
Deschamps' intervention adds further weight to the argument that staying at Bayern represents the best path for Olise's continued development, even as interest from Spain and France shows no sign of fading, with both Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain expected to continue monitoring his situation closely throughout the remainder of the summer transfer window.
