And he did not hesitate when speaking about the returning coach.
"Allegri is clearly an important signing," Incocciati told Football Presse.
"He knows how to manage a group. He knows what he wants. He is now fully formed as a coach who can also give tactical discipline and structure to his teams."
In an era where Milan have lacked consistency, Incocciati believes Allegri offers something that has been missing.
"He may not be a coach of great spectacle, but he is a coach who gives substance. That is what has been missing at Milan in recent years."
The former striker is convinced the experienced manager can steady the ship.
"I am convinced Max will do a good job, especially considering what Milan are doing in the market."
With new arrivals and renewed ambition, Incocciati sees Allegri as the man to restore Milan's credibility.
"Milan need to return to being a team of international stature. Allegri can help bring that back."
